Privacy Policy

Short version: we do not ask you for personal information, we do not have accounts, and the interactive tools on this site run entirely in your browser and send us nothing. Last updated 30 Aug, 2026.

What we do not collect

This site has no login, no newsletter and no forms that transmit anything to us. Specifically, we never collect your name, address, Social Security number, EBT or benefit card details, income, or household information.

The tools on this site are private by design. The eligibility checker, the document checklist, the provider shortlist and the state lookup all run entirely in your own browser using JavaScript. What you enter is never transmitted anywhere, is not stored on your device, and disappears the moment you close or refresh the page. We could not see your answers even if we wanted to.

What is collected automatically

Like almost every website, some technical information is collected when you visit:

  • Analytics — we use GOOGLE ANALYTICS to understand which pages are read. This records approximate location, device type, browser and pages visited.
  • Server and security logs — our host and CLOUDFLARE record IP addresses and requests to keep the site running and block attacks.

Third parties

We share nothing with anyone, because we hold nothing to share. The services that necessarily process technical data on our behalf are our web host, our content delivery and security provider CLOUDFLARE, and our analytics provider Google analytics. Each has its own privacy policy.

Links to providers and government sites lead to organizations we do not control. Once you leave this site, their policies apply, not ours.

Your rights

If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not collect enough to identify you. You can still contact us with any request.

If you are in the EU or UK, GDPR rights of access, correction, erasure and objection apply. The same limitation holds: we hold almost nothing about you.

Children

This site is intended for adults applying for household benefits. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
